The new Central Place is located at 1201 Wilson Boulevard at the corner of North Lynn Street in Rosslyn, Virginia. After demolishing the existing structures onsite, Clark Construction will build a 31-story mixed-use residential tower with unique curved elements, offering 377 apartment units and three top-floor luxury levels. Also included in the project is the construction of ca. 45,000 sq ft ground-floor dining and retail space, fitness center, rooftop terrace with an outdoor pool and expansive sundeck on the sixth floor, as well as a 17,000 sq ft public plaza which will connect to the Rosslyn Metro Station entrance. Moreover, the project will be home to a 360 degree observation deck which offers a panoramic view on the skylines of Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. The construction is targeting Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification.
